Beorma Quarter, Digbeth, Birmingham: Ingleby (1733) Ltd
City centre mixed use redevelopment comprising of over 60,000sqm of office, retail, restaurant and residential use. ADL prepared a Transport Assessment, Travel Plan and Servicing Management Plan. ADL provided assistance to the architects in terms of the design of the basement car park and servicing arrangements. The proposals included improvements to the pedestrian environment designed by ADL. ADL lead negotiations and discussions with Birmingham City Council Highway Authority regarding the S106 transport contributions.
McDonald’s Restaurants Ltd, nationwide
ADL have provided consultancy advice to McDonald’s at new and existing sites around the UK and Ireland, ranging from design advice in terms of site layout and delivery vehicle Track analysis, as well as the preparation of Transport Assessments and Traffic Notes, which have gained planning permission, both at Planning Committee and Public Enquiry
Former Factory Site, Portland, Dorset:
Chelverton Deeley Freed

Chelverton Deeley Freed acquired a factory site for redevelopment into a foodstore for Tesco Plc in addition to housing and a nursing home. ADL provided highways advice and assistance from the outset, including initial site feasibility, means of access, preparation of a Transport Assessment and Travel Plan, as well as detailed design following Planning permission. An extensive off-site improvements scheme was designed and involved liaison with the local authority and residents groups, in order to meet the needs of all road users.

ADL provided transportation consultancy services for the redevelopment of 36 petrol filling station (pfs) sites throughout the UK which were refurbished to provide filling stations with significant retail facilities. ADL provided initial site feasibility assessments for the sites, prepared the relevant transport material for planning submission and undertook S278 works where required. ADL produced a Transport Assessment for the Sandy Roundabout site, (pictured) and liaised with Bedfordshire Highway Authority and the Highways Agency to resolve the transport issues.
ADL have experience of working on commercial projects including fast food outlets, public houses and restaurants, individual offices and business parks. ADL have also worked on behalf of educational establishments, agricultural producers and religious organisations.
